I would like to thank you for supporting the G6 Operations office with your employees. The Field Support Officers (FSO) Team personnel (Ms. Miller, Mr. Bassa and Mr. Harris) have bolstered the capability of supporting Telecom services and USAREC Brigade (BDE) S6 issues. Each member handles specific BDE’s and backs up the other FSO’s as needed for redundancy. Their ability to support and help resolve many issues have increased productivity in the IT area for all the BDE’s. Their one on one professional working relationship with the BDE’s, have instilled a since of confidence in the IT workforce for USAREC. This in turn has slowed most of the day to day contact with our director for issues that should be in the various G6 Division lanes. Our director has mentioned this multiple times during our Division Chiefs meetings that he is pleased with the actions of the FSO’s, they have reduced his calls from the BDE’s down to almost nothing. This along with methodical work in reconciling the USAREC telephone report, the FSO have been a 1000% positive asset for the USAREC G6 Team.
Our IT Operations Team (Mr. Bonnet, Mr. Harper and Mr. Stubeda) have been nothing short of outstanding. Their IT knowledge and experience has allowed the G6 Operations to do deep dive into IT analysis, and provide information for the leadership to recommend network upgrades. The Ops Team have consistently provided IT analysis throughout the Hurricane disasters this past month. The data was used for preparing the IT reconstitution plan for bringing IT operations back online for the affected areas. Additionally their expertise in IT has enable identifying issues in areas outside of the continental US such as Japan and Guam. Your personnel assigned to the G6 Operations Division is indispensable for supporting the IT needs for the USAREC organization."
